Privacy policy

This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website, why, who we share it with, and how you can access or correct it. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles.

What we collect

When you ask for a loan roadmap we collect the details you give us: your name, email address, phone number, your situation (for example whether you are an Australian citizen, a foreign national or a temporary visa holder), the country you live in, the currency and type of your income, what you are buying and where, the price, your timeframe and whether you asked for a broker introduction. When you ask for a broker introduction, on the roadmap form or on the broker page, we send the broker only your name, email address, phone number and the loan purpose. On every form we also record the page you were on and the website that referred you.

Why we collect it

  • To show you your loan roadmap and to follow up with you about it, by email, phone or message, which you can ask us to stop at any time.
  • To pass only your name, contact details and the loan purpose to a licensed Australian mortgage broker, if you asked for a broker introduction. We pass nothing else to the broker.
  • To reply to your message or correction.
  • To understand how people use the site.

Who we share it with

We share your details only with the broker you asked us to introduce you to, and with the service providers that run this site: hosting (Vercel), our database (Supabase) and email notification (FormSubmit). These providers may store data outside Australia. We do not sell your information. A broker may contact you by phone, email or message, and handles your information under their own privacy policy.

Cookies and analytics

We do not use advertising cookies. We may use website analytics to count visits and see which pages are read. Fonts are served from this site, so your browser does not contact Google to load them.

Access, correction and complaints

You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to stop contacting you, by contacting us. If you are not satisfied with our response you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.

Keeping information

We keep your details for as long as we need them for the purpose you gave them, and then delete them.
